MEDICARE AGENT PORTAL AND CERTIFICATION GUIDE

 Certification

To certify with UnitedHealthcare log into your agent portal and go to the Knowledge Center > Learning Lab.

A few things:

  • You will have six attempts to complete an assessment with a minimum passing score of 85 percent.
  • When you launch an assessment, an attempt is counted when you complete the assessment.
  • Answer a question correctly and you’ll move immediately to the next question; answer a question incorrectly and you’ll receive feedback that it was wrong and then you will move to the next question.

As in past years, Medicare Basics includes MA, PDP, and AARP® Medicare Supplement! Please note the prerequisities required below.

  • When you pass Medicare Basics or transfer your passing AHIP score, you will be given conditional credit for Medicare Advantage, Prescription Drug Plans (PDP), and Medicare Supplement products. Once you pass the remaining two prerequisite assessments (Ethics and Compliance and the AARP® 101 Module), you will be certified to sell non-Special Needs Medicare Advantage plans, stand-alone PDPs, and AARP® Medicare Supplement Insurance plans.
  • To sell Chronic or Dual Special Needs Plans (DSNP), take the Chronic/Dual SNP module and test after you have passed all your prerequisite tests. (Product and Events Learning Path)
  • Don’t forget to take 2022 Events Basics if you plan to conduct in-person or virtual events! (Product and Events Learning Path)

To certify with Humana, log into your agent portal.

Access the Humana MarketPoint University (HMU) through the Education Card or click Get Certified on the Licensing Certification and Contracts card. Once you enter HMU, you can access your certification course by clicking View on the top banner or “Certifications & Courses” or from the drop down menu.

To certify with WellCare visit the Centene Learning Center.

You must reset your password for the Centene Learning Center before proceeding to AHIP and ACT (if you have not accessed the site after 5/10/2021).

  • Returning Users: Enter your Username and Password and click login.
  • First Time Visitors: Click on the 'Create a New Account' link under the 'First Time Visitor?' section and complete registration.

Certification is now open! Go to the Devoted Health agent portal to complete your certification.

A few notes:

  • Agents will have 3 attempts to pass the training exam with a minimum score of 85% (If the agent is unable to pass within 3 attempts, they will need to certify for PY2023)
  • Each time the exam is opened (initiated) it will count as an attempt and must be completed in one sitting (~30 min).
